Wendy Barranco, Army veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom fought off sexual harassment and sexual assault by officers as she worked to save lives in a field hospital in the Tikrit, Iraq combat zone.  Following her return she became active in Iraq Veterans Against the War (now About Face: Veterans Against the War) and in other community social justice efforts.
